Classic Movies Week Comes to Chiller!
Published on Jan 27, 2013
We here at Chiller (obviously) love horror movies, so as a valentine to everyone we're presenting our Classic Movies Week starting Monday, February 18th at 9:00 AM (Ok, so it's a few days after Valentine's Day. It's the thought that counts, right?).
Here's the line-up (Note: We're showing these films multiple times throughout the week. Just click on the title to see the complete list of airings).
Tim Burton's moody, gothic fairy tale is watchable again and again.
While not a horror movie per se (unless you count the 1989 overusage of acid wash denim), this classic starring Fred Savage, Howie Mandel and Ben Savage explores what happens when there really ARE monsters under your bed.
This monster classic is also the directorial debut of special effects master Stan Winston.
This 1985 cult classic is about a student who brings his dead professor back to life. Things, of course, do not go as planned.
1980s punks vs. zombies! Fun fact: This was the first movie to introduce the concept of zombies eating brains.
Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers
Gender bending serial killer Angela Baker is back for another go around at camp - and this time she's played by Bruce Springsteen's sister. Side note: Look for one of the most outrageous deaths in horror involving an outhouse.
Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland
Angela strikes again - new camp, new teens, more creative kills. Fun fact: All the characters in this movie are named after people from West Side Story or The Brady Bunch.
Ever wonder what happened to the creepy Zuni Fetish doll that terrorized Karen Black in part one? This one answers your question.
The movie so infamous, a documentary (Best Worst Movie) was made about it! See what all the hubbub's about.
