Oooh, a couple is about to get a little frisky in the woods. No matter that there's possibly a serial killer on the loose and a teenage boy has gone missing. Of course, just as things are taken up a notch, the teenage boy who the Executioner beat up pops out from under the leaves, gasping for air! That'll kill the mood real fast.
Sarah's grandmother, Brenda, arrives to stay with Sarah and Dylan until the killer is caught. She doesn't like the idea of them staying in the house, but Sarah's pretty adamant about not leaving.
Robin meets with Verna's nephew, Trent, a rather sketchy character who basically threatens Robin if he doesn't get a good deal selling Verna's house. Yikes. Wouldn't want to get on his bad side.
Sarah is setting up her art gallery when crazy Heather Peterson shows up. The space used to belong to Heather, and she's mad at Robin and Justin for leasing it to someone else. She accuses Sarah of stealing her mail and generally acts pretty nutty, though she hightails it out of there when Sarah threatens to call the cops.
After Heather leaves, Sarah opens some of her mail and discovers a nasty surprise... a cryptic message and a bloody human finger! This day is not off to a great start..
Sarah calls the cops and tells them they need to warn people about the Executioner, but Vaughn insists that they have it under control. Nevertheless, Sarah gets to work trying to decipher of the meaning of the message in the envelope.
Robin is messing around online with a stranger when the power goes out in his office. Upon investigation, he finds cut power lines... as well as the Executioner! The Executioner chases him to an alley and slashes his arms before Robin is pulled into the back of a building by a shopkeeper.
Sarah brings the message to Tom at the prison, and he suggests that the message has a set of geographical coordinates. They lead to a spot just outside town, and Sarah wants to go investigate. Tom warns her against going alone, but girl's gonna do what she wants.
At the coordinates, Sarah finds a cave. There she discovers a decaying skeleton. She calls the police and they determine the body is that of Peter McBride, Verna's husband. Sarah says that Verna must have killed Peter, and the Executioner punished her for her wrath.
At the Bulletin office, Alison theorizes to Dylan and Sarah that Verna must have found out about Peter's sextracurricular activities with Sarah's parents and snapped, killing Peter and disposing of the body. She says they need to get the sex tape back.
Brenda runs into her old friend Sonya, though she doesn't seem particularly happy to be reunited. Sonya accidentally asks how Brenda's dead daughter, Rachel, is doing, and Brenda quickly leaves in distress.
Brenda makes plans to leave town that night, but Sarah stops her and confronts her about her parents' sex tapes and reveals she's been meeting Tom Winston. Brenda goes into graphic detail about what Tom did to her parents, and she says Sarah should reevaluate trusting him.
Robin, now in a hospital bed, tells Justin they should cancel their charity fundraiser scheduled for that night until he's better, but Justin declines, saying it's too important and that he can handle it himself. In the meantime, Cam will be guarding Robin's bed.
Alan Henry visits Tom at the prison as his religious counsel. Alan breaks down, telling Tom that he's not sure if he can stay strong, but Tom says he must. Well, this is weird...
Robin is beginning to indoctrinate Cam into the world of Housewives reality shows when the power at the hospital goes out. In a moment of confusion, Cam tackles a flower delivery guy arriving with a delivery for Robin. Robin reads the note, which says "My condolences for your loss." Uh-oh, Justin's a target!
Cam calls Justin to try to warn him, but at that moment, Justin begins convulsing with blood and foam coming out of his eyes and mouth. He gives one last scream before falling still. Another one bites the dust...
Cam and Vaughn arrest Heather, who had previously made threats against Justin and Robin. Is she the Executioner?
Sarah meets Tom again, and they determine Justin received the punishment for gluttony, which is traditionally being force fed rats, toads and snakes. The Executioner went with rat poison instead. But what could Justin have done to earn the Executioner's punishment?
